How does pricing work?
Two plans. Foundation: $300 one-time to design and launch a 5-page site, then $99/month with 2 edit requests included. Growth: $600 setup for up to 10 pages, then $179/month with 5 edit requests plus one new page every month. Pay annually and get two months free. Need more than your plan includes? An extra edit is a flat $35, an extra page $99 — always quoted before we start, never auto-charged.
How much does a website cost for a plumber, roofer, or HVAC company?
With Velasari: $300 one-time to design and launch a 5-page site, then $99/month with hosting, edits, and search upkeep included — or $600 and $179/month for a bigger site that grows every month. For comparison, a custom agency build typically runs $3,000–$10,000 up front plus a monthly retainer, and DIY builders run $20–50/month plus your own nights and weekends doing all the work. In most trades, one booked job covers a year of Velasari.
How is Velasari different from Wix, Squarespace, or hiring an agency?
Wix and Squarespace sell you software — the building, writing, updating, and getting-found work is still your job, forever. An agency does the work for you, but typically at $500+/month with a 12-month contract. Velasari is done-for-you at a software price: a professional team builds and runs your site from $99/month, month to month, and you own the site, the content, and the domain. You never touch software. You get a monthly report instead.
Do you actually maintain the site every month, or is it set-and-forget?
Every month our system ships real work: your included edit requests (two on Foundation, five on Growth — plus a new page on Growth), upkeep that keeps you showing up on Google and in AI answers, uptime and QA monitoring, and a report that shows exactly what changed. If a month goes by and nothing improved, we didn't do our job.
Who owns the website?
You do — the content, the copy, your domain, and your brand are yours. If you ever leave, you keep what's yours; we hand off your content and point your domain wherever you want.
What happens if I want to cancel?
Cancel anytime, no penalty. We export your content, release your domain, and give you a clean handoff so nothing holds you hostage.
Honestly, you sound like the website spam I delete every week. Why are you different?
Fair — you probably get ten of those pitches a week. Three differences you can check in five minutes: (1) We show finished work — open any demo site and it walks you through itself, stop by stop. (2) No contract — month to month, cancel anytime, and you keep your domain and content. (3) We publish a list of what we'll never do: fake reviews, invented credentials, guaranteed rankings. Nobody running a scam writes that page.
How much work is this for me?
About twenty minutes up front — business details, photos if you have them, what makes your shop different. After that your only job is approving things: the draft before launch, and any change you ask for. Requests happen by portal or plain email. If you can text, you can run this.
What happens to my current site, domain, and phone number?
Your domain and phone number stay yours and keep working the whole time. We build the new site alongside the old one and switch the domain over only after you approve the draft — no downtime, no lost Google history we can avoid. Anything worth keeping from the old site (photos, service lists, reviews links) gets carried over.
How long until my site is live?
Most sites launch within about two weeks of kickoff, once we have your business details, photos, and service info. You approve the draft before it goes live. Larger builds get a clear timeline up front.
What's included versus what costs extra?
Included every month: managed hosting, your edit requests (2 on Foundation, 5 plus a new page on Growth), the upkeep that keeps you showing up in search, uptime & QA monitoring, and a plain-language monthly report. Quoted separately, always up front: larger builds, e-commerce, paid-ads landing pages, full redesigns, rush requests, the AI Lead Desk, and motion — animated banners & short videos.
Who actually builds it?
People set the standard; a production system does the heavy lifting. Velasari is run by Dept5 — the digital-production studio behind launches for Blizzard, Disney, Paramount+, Square Enix, Sony Pictures, Google, Microsoft, and Deloitte. Dept5 built and supervises the system, and a Dept5 person reviews the work and handles every exception. That's how the price is possible without the quality being optional.
What kinds of businesses do you serve?
Local trades first: Plumbing, HVAC, Roofing, Electrical, Pest control, Garage doors, and similar service businesses. We don't take legal, medical, dental, financial, insurance, or tax marketing.
